Desert Modern
The style the Valley invented. Low, horizontal, and quiet, built around the view rather than competing with it. Slab cabinets in white oak, a plaster hood instead of a stainless one, and stone with warm veining that reads like the mountains outside the window. It photographs beautifully and, more to the point, it still looks right in fifteen years.

$25,000 – $45,000
The refresh
Same footprint, everything you touch is new. Cabinet refacing or new boxes in the existing layout, quartz counters, tile backsplash, new sink and faucet, lighting, paint.
$45,000 – $90,000
The full remodel
New layout within the existing walls. Custom or semi-custom cabinets, an island, relocated plumbing and electrical, new flooring that runs into the adjacent rooms, a proper hood vented outside.
$90,000 – $180,000
The open plan
Walls come out. Engineered beam, new point loads, the kitchen joined to the living space, windows enlarged, a full slab backsplash, panel-ready appliances. The kitchen most people picture when they say remodel.
Financing

Through a third-party lender, with the terms stated in writing before you commit to anything. It is a way to pay for a project you have already decided on — not a reason to decide on one, and never a pitch at the walk-through.
